While the title Baseballs, Basketballs and Matzah Balls might be a bit too cute this is a serious but very readable exploration of the linkage between Jewish history, ethics and belief with sport; both team and individual performance. While the author is a rabbi, he writes for anyone who has even a passing interest in being a better sports performer or even fan. Not only is the book informative but fun to read as well.
