The Sporting Clays Handbook is a superb introduction to this new and exciting gun game. Sporting clays are an outgrowth of trap and skeet, but geared to simulate in their courses the actual conditions of bird and rabbit hunting.After a brief history of the sport, the author gives an especially clear and helpful description of sporting clays. And then he offers expert advice on which gun to buy, how to get started, basic shooting, what chokes, loads, and accessories are best, and much more. The book is filled with helpful photographs and there is even a glossary of sporting clays terms.The Sporting Clays Handbook is an alternate selection of the Outdoor Life Book Club.
